Brian Kuhlmann and Joslyn Lawrence create each photographic print of the national parks of California. These photographers say that when forests are left untouched for long periods of time, they seem to find their own magic. These pieces were created in response to the ever-changing environment and our relationships with the landscapes we are connected to disappearing and taking new forms. The intention is to create an archive of this moment in time, honoring the medicine and wisdom of sentient forests that live many centuries beyond our lifetime.
